INSURANCE RATING

Insurance Rating:  Dana Fire & Rescue is a Class 5 rated department by the N.C. Department of Insurance.  This rating was based on equipment, manpower, water sources, training and mutual aid departments.
We strive to keep our rating low, which in turn saves the citizens in the Dana Fire District money on their home owners insurance. 

TAX RATE

Tax Rate: Our current tax rate is $.10 for each $100.00 of taxable property value.  This revenue that is generated is used to fund Firemen's salary, Equipment, Maintenance and to maintain our class 5 rating.
